The Adventures of the Prophetic Scribe – The Saga (debut's January 2013)

The Adventures of the Prophetic Scribe chronicles the conversion of a psychic that discovers her true identity in God.

The Prophetic Scribe is Rose - a successful muse and writer. Her clientele includes the rich, famous and powerful. Her mother, Clara, is the business manager of “Gypsy Rose Enterprises,” a consulting and book publishing company that promotes mysticism and the occult to manipulate people and exploit their fears and weaknesses. Clara has built a powerful empire capitalizing on her daughter’s beauty, charm and spiritual gifts. But, one day, a mysterious stranger shows up with an inheritance for Rose, left by her late father.  The gift is life changing for Rose, but threatens to destroy everything that Clara has built.

As Rose is led by the spirit of God, the people she meets and the lessons she learns along the way make for a story filled with astounding revelations, laughter, tears and suspense. The Prophetic Scribe Daily Writing Challenge

The Prophetic Scribe Daily Writing Challenge is dedicated to Kingdom Scribes of the Most High God who are called to write, inspire and put the words into action.  I pray you all meet the challenge.


And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.     Revelation 12:10-11

As we record our experiences and God’s triumph over sin, death and every circumstance or negative thought that seeks to exalt itself above the knowledge of God[1]we release the testimony that changes the lives of those around us and those who read what we write.  This testimony encourages healing, deliverance and salvation that bear witness to the power given to the son of God that continues to work miracles in our life as much today as yesterday and promises to do so forevermore because He lives[2].  This is the testimony of Jesus that contains the spirit of prophesy.[3] This is the testimony that declares, foretells and reveals the prophetic word of the Lord to the listener or reader. This testimony of victory carries the promises of God and causes men to want a closer relationship with Him.  This journal was designed to help you share this testimony.

What makes this journal different is the twofold writing challenge:  First, respond to the challenge in writing; second, respond to the challenge in action.  Many of the writing challenges deal with life challenges that are conquered by the faith that proves we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.[4] The twofold challenge is important because it calls us to move into action. God speaks, we write, and then we allow God to move through us without resistance.  Each writing challenge is presented with this intention.

 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.  James 2:14-17

 Whether the challenge is for you specifically or for you to share with someone else, an action is always required.  In other words, each time you respond to a challenge, a mandate is issued by your own hand that must be completed.  In order to invite the Holy Spirit to guide your hand, a scripture is provided before each challenge.  I encourage you to study and meditate on the scripture prior to responding to the challenge.  You will discover that your responses will be different than you expect when guided by the Spirit of God through his word.

It is my prayer that you will meet each challenge and change a bit of the world in the process.  As you journal and share the powerful testimony of Christ working in your life, you are promoting healing, growing, loving and forgiving, but most of all salvation in Jesus Christ that gives eternal life because this is the greatest testimony of all.[5]

Transformation through Faith

Transformation requires changing some things in our life.  It means replacing things that our "old man" did with things that fit our new identity in Christ.  If we truly want to be new creatures, we have to let go of the old.  Our eating habits might need to change by exchanging fattening foods for more fresh vegetables and fruits or replacing soda with fresh water because your body is not yours anymore, it is the temple of the Holy Spirit.  It is where God lives and his habitat should be holy.  Exercise is also a big part of temple maintenance.  We may need to incorporate exercise into our lifestyle or change our exercise habits to conform to the image of Christ.  This may mean giving up yoga because you love God more than your own will.  Just because our western culture accepts an exercise that  honors eastern gods, thoughts and traditions doesn't mean that a child of God should follow blindly.  There are plenty of exercises that you can do that don't require worshiping false gods with your body.  Try exercising to the word of God Idolatry is something that God hates.  As you are transformed, you will hate what he hates and love what he loves, but you will never know what he truly desires if you don't read the Bible.  You will go through life thinking God should conform to your ideas and getting mad at him whenever he doesn't do what you think he should do.  You will say things like "I don't believe God would do that....." or "I don't believe God wants that.....," but you will not really know what he wants until you read the Bible and get to know him for yourself.  His ways are not our ways and his thoughts are not our thoughts.  He is holier than we could ever be.  That is the reason we need Christ.  He was created to bridge the gap between us and God and no man will see the Father unless they go through His son, Jesus Christ.  There is no shortcut and no other path.  Read the book of John - the disciple that Jesus loved.


 If faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God, then we must hear the word of God to have more faith, and through more faith we are transformed.  Therefore, your eating and exercise habits are not the only things that need to be transformed.  In order for your mind to be renewed, it must be filled with new information - the Word of God.  That doesn't mean you have to read the Bible all the time, but it does mean changing the channel from TV shows that are contrary to the word of God, listening to music with lyrics from the lips of God, hanging out with people that love God.

At trueGOD.tv  you will find Christian news, comedy, preaching, music, theater, movies…….a wide variety of entertainment for a mind that desires to be transformed.  Bookmark it.  Select a channel and let it play.  Let the Word of God penetrate your mind so that your helmet of Salvation is sealed tightly upon your head.  Before you know it, you will be wearing the full armor of God and able to slay giants like David; move mountains with a word; lay hands on the sick and see them be healed……..these are all promises for those that believe on Christ.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God..  Romans 12:2 KJV

YOUR FAMILY LEGACY

When we leave this earth, we leave a legacy of our life. Our legacy is a testimony of our life. It testifies as a witness to the way we lived and how it affected others. The bible refers to memorials. Examine the scriptures below to see how a memorial can be similar to a legacy.

And that these days should be remembered and kept throughout every generation, every family, every province, and every city; and that these days of Purim should not fail from among the Jews, nor the memorial of them perish from their seed. Esther 9:28
